Run for Charity with Sai was an impact footprint community project, initially by an enthusiastic runner, Sai, to celebrate his 30th birthday and give back to the community by running across Cambodia for fundraising to help children at Angkor Hospital for Children. He committed to work on this project with two main goals. First of all, expect to raise funds for Angkor Hospital for Children for one thousand million riels. The project has been done successfully by raising double the number of the goal with a total amount of two thousand million riels from people across Cambodia. With this amount of funds, Angkor Hospital for Children could help more than 10,000 cases. Another big goal that Sai aimed is to inspire young Cambodian youth to start taking action to contribute back to our society. The project also has moved so many hearts from young to old people across the country.

Run With Sai Virtual Run 2021 was the charity running event where participants can run from anywhere. They could choose a category, track their run using Strava, and receive a finisher medal upon completion. This project was created to raise funds for charity and to promote healthcare through running. We believe that this event will also play a role in building the mindset of unity and social contribution. We raised funds 12,000 USD in total and donated to three organization including:

• Manna4Life School
• The Rabbit School Organization
• Safe Haven

Run with Sai for 400,000 steps in 9 Days was a project from SAI which believes as an individual we can make a better society. Initially, an enthusiastic runner SAI to celebrate his 32nd birthday and give back to the community by running together from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap to raise funds for Angkor Hospital for Children and raise awareness about social issues. The meaning of Fundraising is not just money, but it is about the critical message and goal that Sai wants to point out to help our children in the future. According to UNICEF, in 2018, the under-five mortality rate was 28 dead within 1,000 live births. We believe that with a little action, we can contribute to reducing the mortality rate and helping other children in need of healthcare. Children are key indicators of the country’s future.

RUN BY HEART was the running for charity campaign which is created to raise donations for charity and to promote healthcare through running. All proceeds from the registration run will be donated to the Rabbit School, a school for the care and training of children with autism. We believe that this event will also play a role in building the mindset of unity and social contribution.

• 500 participants included 111 autistic students from Rabbit 26 teachers, 101 parents, 200 donations, 18 UYFC members, partners, sponsors, and the Run With Sai team.
